DIPLOMA IN SECURITY SCIENCE AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT

THE PROGRAM
OHRM in collaboration with offers a Diploma in Security and Safety management. This one-year diploma prepares students for careers in management and has a strong emphasis on planning, management and decision-making skills. The seminars are intended to provide a theoretical and practically grounded coverage of key conceptual and practical developments across a wide range of the respective disciplines:

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. SPM or SPMV with at least one Credit and a pass in Bahasa Melayu and English OR
2. General Cert. Of Education or STPM OR
3. Certificate from Malaysian Inst.of Human Resource Management, Polytechnics, Inst.Kem.MARA, TARC, ITTAR or equivalent OR
4. Candidate without the above qualification but possess at least FIVE years work experience of which at least TWO years in the related field and above 25 years old may be considered for enrolment. Such candidate may have to pass a qualification test and or selection interview.

CERTIFICATION
Candidates who satisfactorily complete all of the prescribed seminar shall be eligible to transfer credits for the Award of The Diploma in Strategic Human Resource Management after submitting and due approval by the University of a Management Report.

HIGHER EDUCATION
With the accumulation of sufficient relevant work experience, graduates may proceed thereafter in the MBA or M.Sc in Human Capital Management or MA(HRM) degree curriculum. Student with good result will be considered for partial exemption up to two modules in the Master Program.
